Although adding toll booths in front of all parking structures would require some funding, they could help improve campus safety in three ways:

1. Allowing Campus Security to focus more on student safety in the parking structures rather than monitoring parking permits
2. Creating a fair policy by preventing illegal parking on campus
3. Serving as a gate and permanent post for Campus Security to monitor vehicles coming in and out of campus.
